IFMCH is on its way to build a hospital in five phases. Upon completion, the hospital will provide free of cost services including child psychiatric service, neonatal surgical services, gynaecological services, antenatal and postnatal care, maternity services and neonatal intensive care. It can only continue to build the hospitals with your donations. We as Muslims are privileged to have Ramadan around the corner. It is the best time for us to give our zakat and charity in order to help the underprivileged, socially outcast, weak and uneducated people. IFMCH cannot establish a fully functional hospital without your financial and moral support.
This international NGO has previously opened a clinic in Mirpur Sakro, Thatta back in 2013. This clinic offers free treatment to women and children who travel several kilometers to get treated. The facilities previously available were inadequate, unsterile and run by unqualified people where as IFMCH provided these people with clean medical facilities and qualified staff.
Pakistan particularly Sindh lacks quality care of mother and children. According to the Sindh Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2014, the infant mortality rate in Sindh was recorded at 82 deaths per 1,000 live births. With this hospital, IFMCH has dedicated itself towards the cause of saving lives by promoting best practice in health sector particularly for the mother and child health.
Rural areas are the worst when it comes to infant and maternal mortality rate. The aim of building a hospital in Mirpur Sakro is to reduce child and maternal mortality and improve life expectancy for both mother and children by making young mothers more aware about their personal health, changing attitudes towards mother and child health, and by expanding access to health services with a state of art hospital. Do you want to see 100 delivery units and 10 to 12 maternity units run by IFMCH trained specialist in the next 15 years? If yes, join our hands and offer us support. This Ramadan, donate your money for a noble cause.
