Although a very normal symptom of early pregnancy, morning sickness can be difficult to manage. If you are experiencing morning sickness it can be very difficult to make sure you are eating and drinking enough.
The most effective way to reduce morning sickness is by breaking down your meals into half or a quarter of your normal portion size. For example, eating half of your breakfast in the morning and the rest a few hours later. Try to eat little but often consuming around 4/5 small portions of food a day. Carry a container with you with the leftovers when you leave the house and a water bottle to take small sips of throughout the day ensuring you consume 2/3 liters in 24 hours. All this will help to reduce the acid build up.
The food you are eating should consist of plenty of fruits, vegetables and protein. Try to avoid spicy, heavy or fried foods.
Following this method if you are still vomiting regularly you must visit the Hospital because dehydration must be avoided at all costs.
